Over the past 6 weeks, substantially progress was made in eliminating some of the nastiest, thorniest rough on the Course.
Hole 2 - The left side of the last quarter of the fairway was widened by 5 yards.
Hole 5 - An extensive greenbriar patch and other thorny plants were removed from the right side where discs that hit an early tree on the right side of the fairway often end up.
Hole 6 - All thorny plants were removed from the rough on left side after the initial big tree.
Hole 8 - All thorny plants were removed from the first 5 yards of rough on the right side from shortly after the White Tee until about 2/3ds of the way down the fairway.
Hole 9 - All thorny plants were removed from the rough on both sides between the Blue Tee and until the remnant of the stone wall after the swamp.
Hole 10 - All thorny plants were removed from the right side of the rough starting from the stone wall.
Hole 13 - The thorny patch on the left side at top of the hill about a third of the way up the fairway from the Blue Tee was removed.
