The Waveny Disc Golf Course was created in 2007 on public park land owned by the Town of New Canaan. The Town is now considering a proposal to allow the construction of a private continuing care retirement community centered on park land adjacent to the disc golf course. A bunch of new (used) discs have just been added to the Discs4Sale page. These are discs that were returned to the Waveny lost and found and not reclaimed. Most are in excellent condition and are available for $5-10. All proceeds go to the costs of maintaining and improving the Waveny course.

In August, there were 337 rounds recorded by 132 different players. That compares to 324 rounds recorded by 140 different players in July and 361 rounds (the all-time monthly record) by 141 different player in August 2025.
