Holes 9 and 12 White Tees Changed

On May 20, the White Tees on Holes 9 and 12 were changed to what had been the trial White Tee positions. The new position of the White Tees for Holes 9 and 12 are both about 50' directly in front of the Blue Tees for those hole. Hole 9 from the new White Tee is a 381' par 4 (vs. a 270' par 3 from the old White Tee). Hole 12 from the new White Tee is a 306' par 3 (vs. a 243' par 3 from the old White Tee). The reasons for changing the White Tee of 9 to the new position were (1) Hole 9 from the old White Tee played substantially more over par than Hole 9 from the Blue Tee, (2) Hole 9 from the old White Tee was the only tee position on the Course that had a different par than the other tee positions on the same hole and (3) 27/35 of the people voting in the online poll preferred the new tee position. The reasons for changing the White Tee of Hole 12 to the new position were (1) the old tee position was undesirably close to Holes 9 and 11 and (2) 20/35 of the people voting in the online poll preferred the new tee position. The White layout on UDisc has been update to reflect the tee changes. The old White layout that included the old tee positions for Holes 9 and 12 can be scored on UDisc by using the White-Alt layout option.
