On April 19, a tree service company hired by the Town of New Canaan removed a large number of dead trees from the Course that had been identified for removal by FOWDG. The tree removal eliminated a number of potentially dangerous conditions, allowed for the opening of new Hole 11, and permits a proposed change in the blue tee location for Hole 5.
