April Scoring and Usage Stats

The Stats pages for Course Usage and Hole Scoring have been update to reflect UDisc play counts, unique players, and hole scoring in April 2023. For the second consecutive month, new records were set for both the number of rounds recorded on UDisc on the Course during a month and the number of unique players recording rounds on UDisc on the Course during the month. 290 rounds were recorded in April, which was up from 181 in March, and up from 140 in last April. Eliminated rounds recorded on UDisc during the day of the Waveny Warmup Tournament (only 38 rounds out of 144 rounds played during the Tournament, since UDisc was only used by some players as backup scoring for the official scoring on pdga.com), still leaves a record-breaking 252 rounds played in April. No doubt a substantial number of those rounds were played by people preparing for the Tournament. The effect of play by higher level players playing in or preparing for the Tournament was also reflected in the scoring for April. The aggregate average score for 18 holes for the Blue Tee layout was +5.90 in April, which was dramatically down from +10.70 in March (which itself was substantially down from an average of +13.05 for December-February), and for the White Tee layout was +2.36, which was down from +4.37 in March (which was itself substantially down from an average of +5.57 for December-February).
